All Clued Up- Manhunt in Wigan!

Manhunt is the most unique murder-mystery event on the planet right now. Thousands of would-be detectives have already played our “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” game across the UK and now we’re back with an even harder mystery to solve!

Competing with up to 100 other players on the day, your group of Sherlock’s will need to track down the 18 virtual-witnesses placed all over town, eliminate suspects and rule-out murder weapons – but do you have what it takes to solve a city-wide murder mystery?

Handmade Fair

Date: November 19, 2017

Location: Mercure Georgian House Manchester Road Blackrod BL6 5RU

Vibrant Vintage are hosting 5 handmade fairs at the Mercure Georgian House. This is a brand new venue for 2017. The fairs have a wide selection of stalls selling handmade cushions, cakes, chocolate, crafts, paper craft, jewellery, knitted items, pens, wood craft, button craft, jams, cards and much more.

All items sold are made by the stall holder meaning that this is a true handmade fair with lots of talented people. Plus there will be craft demonstrations, such as rag rug or spinning guild. Finally, you can take a break from shopping by sitting back and relaxing with a cup of tea and cake at the venues café.

Lancashire Day allows us the opportunity to declare that we are proud to be Lancastrians. It commemorates the day in 1295 when Lancashire sent its first representatives to Parliament by King Edward I of England to attend what later became known as The Model Parliament.

Vintage and Retro Fair

Vibrant Vintage are hosting two vintage and retro craft fairs at the lovely Georgian House Hotel in Blackrod. There will be a wide range of stalls selling vintage and retro clothing, accessories, home wear, furniture, jewellery, collectables and china dating from 1920’s – 1980’s. As well as shabby chic furniture, handmade jewellery, gifts, cakes, cards and retro crafts. Plus live entertainment at each event from Bexi Owen. There is a small admission fee of £1 (children under 12 free), but this promises to be a great day out for all the family

Moonlight Drive-In Winter Wonderland

Moonlight Drive-in Cinema brings a Winter Wonderland of Cinema to Wigan this Christmas! Discover the magic of Christmas as Moonlight Cinema returns to Wigan with their drive-in cinema screenings this December 2017. Screenings run from Monday 4th December to Sunday 10th December and with tickets priced at £25.00 per vehicle, there’s no need to leave anybody ‘Home Alone’ this Christmas. Tickets for the week are available online now. There’snow way you’ll want to miss Moonlight Drive-in Cinema at Wigan this December. Louise Campbell from DW Stadium said “Having heard of Moonlight Cinema myself we were very delighted when we were approached to be the first host for Moonlight Cinema in the borough and even more delighted to hear that the event is well received and wanted to come back to us for the third time this December.” For a classic drive-in experience, audiences are asked to tune in their radio as the film’s sound is transmitted straight into their vehicle’s audio system. Refreshments will be available to purchase on site during the screenings. Please be aware of film certifications. Moonlight Drive-in Cinema will be showing the following films at DW Stadium, Wigan.
